Lesson 1, Topic 1
In Progress

Step 6

Go back to the page with your image, and refresh the page. When you hover your mouse over the image, it should grow to double the normal size. When you move your mouse away, it should reduce to normal size.

If your image does not do anything when you hover, you may have to hard refresh your page. A hard refresh is a browser action that forces the webpage to reload entirely from the server. Your browser may be using a cached stylesheet. A hard refresh forces your browser to download and use the stylesheet we just updated. Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to hard refresh the page.

Adding custom CSS to your site lets you go beyond the basic design capabilities of WordPress and page builders by giving you fine control over the appearance of individual elements.
