Buttons

Buttons: Buttons help link users to other parts of your site. As you build your first page, don’t worry too much about linking the buttons, as that will be covered in a future unit. Instead, place buttons where you want to help users go to other parts of your site and customize them using the content and style tabs. In the example below, the button widget was added and the button text changed.

Within the style tab there are several options for changing the look of the button. Perhaps the most important is the ability to add a hover action. Hover options appear in several widgets. This is to help make your website more interactive for site visitors. Hover actions also draw attention to important items on your page. A button is inviting users to read more or go to additional content. Since these are important actions, hover settings will come in handy. The button can have a normal color, but when a user moves their mouse over the button, it can change to a hover color and have animations added so the button pulses, bounces, or grows to draw even more attention to it.

There are so many great widgets that will help make your site interactive and engaging for site visitors. Flip boxes, progress bars, counters, icon boxes, and accordions are just some of the native widgets to explore. The best way to take advantage of the powerful design features of Elementor is to try adding a variety of widgets and altering each setting to make the widget fit the style needed for your page. Remember as you customize each widget, there are arrows to open additional content. There are also often different settings for content/backgrounds or normal/hover settings that can be changed to enhance your page as well.
