Browser Caching

Caching stores a copy of your website on the user’s device so that the next time they visit, it loads much faster. Instead of downloading everything again, the browser pulls the information from its memory. Caching reduces the time it takes for a repeat visitor’s browser to load your website, giving them a faster experience.

To take advantage of caching, use plugins like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache. Once installed, these plugins automatically enable caching on your site. In the plugin’s settings, set the cache lifespan to about a week. This means visitors who come back within a week won’t need to re-download your entire site, saving time and bandwidth.
